It has been the goal of the USO for 76 years to provide a touch of home to our military. This year, USO Northwest Florida plans to serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal and fun with all the trimmings to 1,600 of our local heroes. Not only will this event give the troops a “home away from home,” but it also gives the community an opportunity to give back to those who give so much every day during this Thanksgiving holiday.
USO of Northwest Florida is inviting all those staying in Pensacola for Thanksgiving to join us for our 9th Annual Thanksgiving Feast & Festivities at Bldg. 625D from 23 NOV through 26 NOV.
The weekend will kick off Thanksgiving Day 23 NOV with a traditional feast served by USO volunteers and staff and will feature turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and desserts, just like mom makes.
The festivities don’t end on Thursday. The fun will continue all weekend with a host of special activities and, of course, leftovers, at the center located in Bldg. 625-D. The USO is open for active duty military members and their families as well as retirees. Visitors must show military ID to attend.
For additional questions on this event, contact NAS Center Ops Supervisor Luke Price at (850) 206-0654 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you would like to volunteer the information to sign up will be available early October through EventBrite. Stay Tuned for more details.
