To commemorate the Memorial Day holiday, NAS Pensacola USO hosted our Annual Crawfish Boil. Prior to eating, we talked about the true meaning of Memorial Day and then stuffed our faces with crawfish, potatoes, sausage and corn from Broussard’s Bayou Grill & Cajun Market. Iced coffee was provided by Starbucks! Cakes, cupcakes and cookies were donated by Mimis Kitchen and they were delicious! We even had some of our cute and furry friends stop by from Gulf Coast Canines for Christ! Thanks to USAA, Lockheed Martin, Subway, Chick-fil-A and Texas Roadhouse, we gave out some fantastic door prizes! Thank you to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend a way of life that we all cherish – without those men and women, days like today would not be possible. Home of the free, because of the brave.
