This year’s Military Family Appreciation Day was held in downtown Fort Walton Beach. Coordinated through the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, free food and entertainment was provided for all active duty, retiree’s and their families. Thousands attend this event each year. This year, there was a VIP tent with WWII Vets meeting and greeting. Our USO booth held a raffle and gave away three sets of the Rush Revere children’s books and DVD’s. Along with our USO needs list and volunteer information, wrist bands and dog tags were also provided for the attendees!
